The toilet at the NYC bar Phoenix Park. I only wish this photo showed better just how massive this bathroom really is. I paced it off and I'm pretty sure it has more square feet than my first apartment.

Maybe it was the drinks, or just the condition of the toilet, but the date stamp was a little too fuzzy for me to guarantee with any certainty when this toilet (found at the UWS pub Emerald Inn) was actually born. But this is my best guess.

There was someone in the men's room at Big Nick's on 71st and Columbus, so I actually took this photo in the ladies. When exiting, I was greeted by a woman waiting to use the facilities. Me saying, "Oh, sorry, I was just taking a photo," didn't really help the situation.

Toilet Birthday:May 18, 2005The O'Flanagan Twins from O'Flanagan's Ale House in New York. Despite the fact they share a birthday, they appear to have different handles and lids.

The toilet at Manhattan Brick Oven Pizza & Grill on the UES of Manhattan. One of the few pizza joints around that actually has a good selection of non-pizza food: Eggs & Omelettes, Breakfast Wraps, Jumbo Burgers and Fresh Juice Bar.

This is the toilet in the Dunkin' Donuts at 66th Street & 1st Avenue in New York City. Someone should tell them that you have to actually put the plastic bottle INSIDE the tank to conserve water with each flush. Of course, they get my food order wrong every time, so, I'm not surprised they were confused by this too.

My toilet is Gerber USA W4 years old. And my toilet seat cover is dogs hunting birds.
If you can make sense out of all of this, please let me know!

Toilet Birthday:October 31, 1985Here's our toilet, and I was very pleased it's an 80s Halloween toilet. Please note, this is not the original seat. Our landlords put in the wooden seat just before we moved in. Awwhh! Very nice. Also, I just jazzed up the toilet with a Japanese toilet sign I bought at the Daiso. I usually have that sign on the bathroom doorknob.

Home Base. My apt. toilet in downtown Toronto. The blue paint job was added about 5 years ago (changed from a yawn-inducing beige). I think it's much happier now.

This toilet can be found at Baker Street, a joint on the East Side of NYC. Interestingly enough, the bar is on the spot where the first T.G.I. Friday's stood, and where Tom Cruise learned to flip bottles in the movie "Cocktail." I only wish I would have gone looking for this particular toilet birthday a few years ago, so I could have used the same toilet Tom did during his downtime on set.
